Jonathan Coulton Concert
There’s a free Jonathan Coulton concert at University of Arkansas Tuesday. He’s the guy who wrote the Still Alive song from Portal, also maybe you’ve heard the some Code Monkey. Seep and Timmah like him too. I’m pretty positive I’ll go, I’m trying to get random folks from Facebook to carpool too teehee

CRYSIS
Borrowed crysis from a coworker last week. I installed it today, finally, and it does look pretty hot. I let the game choose the settings and it decided to set everything on high settings (the highest setting is aptly named “very high”). I’ve played about 20 minutes of the game so far, and I can’t say that its anything spectacular, though I do appreciate open feeling of the game. To keep things going you are prodded along the story with objectives on your map. I feel lik I might not be doing things the “right” way. Instead of using my powers (super strength, armor, speed, cloak) I’ve been running around in a jeep that I stole and have been driving through everything. Anywas the main point for installing it was to test my new machine and it seems to be doing admirably, but I’ve yet to be engaged in any kind of large battle so we’ll see how things turn out then. !_!

Anyways its a browser based game thats “free” and has a cartoon/TF2 sytle. I’ll try and play some over lunch and post some impressions.
